What’s Happening at Ellis?

Did you know? The Ellis Center Founders, Alison & Tim Caputo, met in Design school and began their Design careers in Atlanta. During the early years of Ellis, designers, manufacturers, representatives, and architects were among Ellis' biggest supporters! Last August, the Ellis Center was honored to be the selected Nonprofit recipient of proceeds from the American Society of Interior Designer's Event - BUILD 2023. We are excited to be reunited with such a supportive and encouraging Design community who supports Ellis to this day!

We Had a blast at camp impaact 2023!

Camp ImpAACt is a one-of-a-kind program where kids who use AAC devices can enjoy a week of summer fun with their peers. This year, we are welcomed 22 Campers from over 3 different states! This was one of the highest attendances of Camp ImpAACt we have had, and you joined us in pulling together the resources to make this the best Camp experience it can be!

Ellis educates: training series

We are proud to serve as a resource for others in the community and love when we have the opportunity to share our expertise. One of the ways we do this is through our Ellis Educates training events which cover a variety of topics. We are able to customize the trainings based on what the group requesting it needs.

Last spring we partnered with various CHOA locations and City of Rome Schools! If you would like more information about our Ellis Educates series, please email lmartin@elliscenter.org with “Ellis Educates” in the subject line.
